Believe-it Beauty Bar

The three of us have been friends since our last days of college and early days of work. We spent all the Sunday afternoons of our youth together dreaming and hoping for a bright future.

Thato would go on to establish herself in hair business and organically grew into beauty wholesale while Liteboho and Kamohelo focused their efforts on climbing the corporate ladder.

Many years and children later, business continued to hit beneath Thato’s ambition and she decided to relocate to South Africa. We all came back together to celebrate her success with time, then we realised she never had to relocate. SA could have been and should have been an expansion.

We knew we shared a passion for beauty and feelings of wholesomeness. Since Thato had already established an admirable brand with Believe-it, it made sense to build on it. At first, we thought we wanted to do a kids salon. We found space next to The Deck which inspired us to spiral into endless ideas. We finally settled at kids salon Ofcourse, but included adults separately. We’d also have a Nail Bar for both manicure and pedicure. We would have a lash bar as well while makeup services unfold.

The vision wrote itself as it became clearer that what was becoming of Believe-it was a Beauty Bar. Our goal is to externalise with excellence how we believe people should walk around feeling on the inside. With that, we hope to inspire our clients to believe in their beauty. Take that same sense of belief and apply it to their abilities and show up sure in their everyday lives!

To memorise these moments, we added a photography studio! It is important to us that kids have fun therefore along with the studio we made a lawn. It will be our generous honour to share in their birthdays, woke-up-like-this days and educational sessions we have in the making for them.

Business is fun to establish! Nothing beats the feeling of seeing your ideas come to live, even when they come wrong!
In August 2025, we started bringing it all together. We started with opening an account with Standard Lesotho Bank right after getting our legal identity and tax standing in order. Along with the feeling of beauty, we always want to bring convenience to our clients - making business with them easier and convenient: wherein Standard Lesotho Bank came handy (that’s a story for another day).

There’s still so much more in store for us. We dream and we believe in our dreams! We shall be telling more of our story, but we dare you to check in with us more intently in 30yrs🙏😂💙
