‘Draw Me A Face’, a collaboration between photographer @petestard and makeup artist @tizianaraimondo [2026]

In this editorial series, a group of children were asked to draw freely on blank makeup face templates, with the looks then being brought to life by professional makeup artists and models. The resulting images celebrate the raw imagination of childlike creativity, “a place where instinct takes precedence over technique.”

“Before beauty becomes something to perfect, correct or perform, it exists as a field of endless possibility. A face is no longer a face but a landscape, colors appear where no one would think to place them, shapes follow no logic except their own. In childhood, there is still a freedom that escapes us later. The freedom to create without reference, without comparison, without the invisible weight of taste and convention.”
