REYU is not simply a muscle stimulator.

Our coarse needle is 300 microns thick, 75 times the size of the capillaries. There is no space for this needle nor for its fluid to run between the cells.

Putting our active or stimulating agents into a syringe and injecting them into the skin to nourish it is a technique nobody has seriously considered.

Your face naturally maintains its shape through an integrated support system consisting of fascia, ligaments and facial muscles working together. These structures continuously counteract gravity and preserve facial contours through coordinated biological function.

When these supporting structures lose their integrity, simply creating more contraction beneath the skin does not restore how the face naturally supports itself.

Thread lifts were designed to create a lifting effect by pulling on the skin. But does pulling the skin actually lift the face?

The problem? The skin is not the structure that holds your face in place.

A youthful face depends on the integrity of its deeper foundations: muscles, ligaments, fascia, and the nervous system that keeps them functioning together. Pulling on the skin does not restore these structures or reverse the biological processes of facial aging.

That is why thread lifts have largely fallen out of favor as a true rejuvenation strategy. They may create temporary mechanical tension, but they do not rebuild the biological support system of the face.

Melanocytes and their pigment belong in the epidermis, where they are evenly distributed.

When pigment is found in the dermis, where it doesn’t belong, it’s either due to a condition called dermal melasma or a post-traumatic reaction called post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

These pigmentations are mostly inflammatory in nature, as inflammation creates openings in the sheet between the epidermis and the dermis (basal membrane) through which pigment can leak. Once the integrity of this membrane is restored, the dermal pigment is resorbed, and the discoloration clears up.

Bioelectricity has potent anti-inflammatory effects and has been used successfully to reduce this type of pigmentation.
