As more and more multinational companies are setting up cannabis farms across the world, attention has shifted more to Africa. More and more countries are now decriminalizing the use of cannabis in Africa, the latest being Morocco. Morocco is one of the largest cannabis producers in the world and provides high quality by-products. Morocco has just passed a law authorizing the therapeutic use of cannabis Cannabis sativa has been proven to have over 50,000 industrial uses, including as an alternative to cardboard, cotton and for medicinal purposes. A 2019 report from Africa Regional H**p and Cannabis indicates that Africa's contribution to the global cannabis market was $ 37.3 billion, which is 11% of the global market.
