Ever wonder why you keep getting dealt the same card deck? Can you identify what lessons you need to learn in this life? Or more importantly, can you let go of what you've already learned? Do you know, can you tell the times when things are clear as a whistle, but then other times, you're head is so cloudy inside and out, you could qualify for a meteorological phenomenon?

These are all questions we all ask ourselves, in the endless search for our identity, for what makes us us. In my experience with as a yoga practitioner, student and teacher, I learned a thing or two.

First of all, we are all in a rush, running errands, busting backs, meeting deadlines. We get so caught up with the chase, we forget to live.

Secondly, we ignore our feelings and sacrifice our true needs and wants in the name of what ought to be done way, way, waaaaayyy to often.

So, how do we deal with this? How do we slow down and finally ask our soul: "What do you want?"

Well the good news is, astrology can do just that for everyone. Find the soul, see where it lies, what path did it choose, and how does it want to realize it's mission here, on Earth.

This is also where yoga steps in. You see, the answers can be difficult and painful sometimes (cluelessness, rigidity, habit, no sense of direction, desire for control etc, all constructs of the mind) so instead of whipping ourselves over the mistakes we've made, we can, consciously and responsibly choose to Slow down.

Yoga helps you to feel yourself, see what hurts, what feels good. It takes you away from the troubles of the past and the anxiety for the future, and plants u smack in the middle of the present moment.

So, with the answers, or rather direction that you can get with and from astrology, u get on a mat and, face it, face it all. Nothing bad is going to happen, the world won't end, you won't die, I promise.

But, you will feel way better, when you realize, the world is actually not against you, plus it's a beautiful place to be in.
