VB - Professional Spraying Solutions
A two-generational family business excelling in factory-finish renovations and on-site restorations
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ABOVE ALL ELSE
A two-generational family-business, Verniciatura Bertone offers a customer orientated approach, having strived from day one to offer highly competitive prices without cutting corners by using the best and most durable finishing products on the market. We were all clients at some point so we’ve all experienced the frustration of no-shows, less than satisfactory work, cleaning up the mess left behind by workers and the list could go on and on. We spend no less than 15% of onsite time masking and cleaning. The only thing we’ll leave you with is good vibes, and good as new apertures and furniture. Being such a small tight-knit team ensures that your queries are answered straight away, and we work around the clock to honour appointments given. OUR REPUTATION
With now over 45 years experience in the trade we have become the specialists in Malta for High Gloss Lacquer finishings on wood. We are also able to produce high-quality paint finishes on wood, MDF, glass and metal using high quality paints and lacquers to give you the best results ever. FAMILY HISTORY
Established in 1999 VB is Carmelo Bertone’s labour of love; the result of 45+ years of experience in furniture spraying in Italy and later in Malta. Carmelo cut his teeth working on gloss, a technique that offers no room for mistakes. Bringing in the rigour acquired with working with such an unforgiving material his finishing quickly became a recognisable household feature. WHAT WE OFFER
We’ve all become ever more conscious of re-using and re-storing, not only as a cost-cutting measure but also to preserve our ever threatened Maltese heritage. We’re proud to say that so far we have saved over E60,000 worth in Maltese doors and we’re hoping that this number can keep growing exponentially.

This kitchen, found in a house of character in Gozo, was refinished in Farrow & Ball's Dimity No.2008, a light colour that pairs particularly well with the warmth of the Maltese limestone. Appearing white at first glance, the complexity of the colour reveals itself as the sun enters the room.

One of the things we enjoy most about kitchen renovations is seeing just how much can change without replacing what's already there.
For this kitchen, the original oak-effect laminate gave way to a softer palette, giving the space an entirely different character. A buttermilk yellow complements the rustic charm of the traditional Maltese townhouse, while the matte finish brings a contemporary layer to the cabinetry.

What makes a factory-finish kitchen renovation?
Part of it is the craft. The other part is keeping an eye on the latest interior design trends.
Replacing this kitchen would have been a waste of good carpentry, so to get the look the client was after, we made a few smart alterations: we removed the pelmet and the spindle gallery on the shelf, and replaced one of the traditional glass doors with a solid panel.
The final touch is the metal effect finish. It's everywhere in interior design right now, and we are making it possible for your renovation project as well.
These previously owned Oak doors where restored and then finished in Matte RAL9011.

Staying on top of the latest products and technologies is essential in our pursuit of flawless durable finishes. Big thank you to G.Molton Co Ltd for organising this training on the Rioverde products by Renner Italia.

We love a 3-colour scheme when done right. Cupboards refinished in beige taupe with our signature factory-level finish. The island's bluish-grey is a tried-and-tested combo with medium-to-dark wood.
This kitchen shows how solid wood can be reimagined for contemporary interiors while retaining its charm. We appreciate it when customers ask us to restore wooden furniture, like this Douglas Fir table stripped down and restained in Walnut.

For this project, we combined two of our favorites from the Farrow & Ball colour collection. A traditional Maltese banister finished on-site in Brinjal, bridges with the warmth of the open-plan furnishings to a bold entrance door reimagined in India Yellow.
