As I do each year, I must thank all of you who choose me as your nail tech, I truly appreciate your loyalty and support towards my business. None of it would be possible without you!

This has been such an eventful year for my personal life! It’s the year I got to marry the love of my life, it’s also the year I learnt that we are expecting a little bean! I feel so blessed! and I am also so greatful that I got to share it with you lovely Ladies! Thankyou for being part of my life! You are my clients but you are also wonderful people that I get to spend time with and get to know. Thankyou for the monthly chats, advice, trust and also the simple moments.

I must also admit that this time round it does not feel like there is an ending and a new beginning just yet. It is more like a continuation of what’s ending and what’s yet to begin for now. A time of “in between” that I am learning to embrace.

The lesson that I got for 2023 has been to trust the process, to let things flow and to let go, not all can be known or controlled. Sometimes you have to let things come to you. Worry less and live more. Enjoy this very moment, because nothing is perfect and also nothing lasts forever. Things will fall into place. Allowing yourself to have faith and to hope is a beautiful experience that opens doors to beautiful things!

I realise, as I am writing this, that my job as a nail tech is a testament to this and has very much to do with it: years ago I left a job that was secure and comfortable with the HOPE of making it as a self-employed nail tech and had FAITH that I can make it, and so here I am! My dream come true!

So that is how I would like to go into 2024; with an open heart for anything that’s about to come. Surrender to the unknown and be open for whatever is yet to be.

I hope that these words can bring some comfort to whoever needs to hear them and most of all, once again, I hope that all of you know how greatful I am for all of you! THANKYOU!
