Every so often the Gaultier sailor gets a new uniform. In blue, he's at his freshest.

Le Male In Blue reworks the icon for warm weather. It keeps the smooth lavender and vanilla that made Le Male a modern classic, but the whole thing feels lighter and cooler, with anise brightening the top and a green, almost wet violet note running through the base. It never turns heavy, which is exactly what you want in the summer months.

There's a nice detail behind this one. Alberto Morillas, one of the perfumers who created the original 212 Men in 1999, came back to compose its most intense chapter.

212 Men Parfum is a woody spicy fragrance with real depth. Cardamom and caramelised ginger open it with a warm, addictive spice, orris and lavender smooth out the heart, and vanilla, leather and incense give it a base that lingers for hours.
