So let's get acquainted with one of the most well known flower in history........ the Jasmine flower.

Jasmine with green tea has been used since the Song Dynasty in China. Green tea itself has numerous beneficial effects on the body, and jasmine also has aromatherapeutic effects associated with it.

Both used together creates a winning combo :)

The benefits are as follows:

Relaxation: Jasmine helps to relax an anxious mind before bedtime and even relax and upset stomach. Jasmine green tea reduces the blood pressure and increase the oxygen content absorbed in the blood in addition to lowering the heart rate.

Anti-Cancer: Green tea alone has known benefits to both preventing and dealing with cancer. This property is amplify with the additional use of jasmine which has similar properties. In studies with rats or mice exposed to carcinogens, drinking jasmine green tea resulted in fewer instances of cancer or tumors. Jasmine therefore offers preventative benefits against cancer and its components derived plays a key role in a preliminary anti-cancer drug. Jasmine green tea or its components have been found effective against breast cancer, prostate cancer and esophageal cancer amongst others.

Weight Loss and Cholesterol: Jasmine green tea contributes to losing both weight and fat, as well as reducing cholesterol. The main factors to the weight loss effect include the amounts of caffeine and antioxidants in the green tea in addition to its pleasant. The sweet taste of jasmine makes it easier to substitute for sugary and less healthy drinks. Jasmine green tea also has a reducing effect on the amount of cholesterol in the body. Consumption of jasmine green tea has been proven to help the elimination of cholesterol and fats from the body reducing cholesterol in the bloodstream.
