Albion : deux présumés voleurs de canards arrêtés

La Criminal Investigation Division (CID) de Petite-Rivière a élucidé une affaire de vol de canards survenu à Albion Duck Farm.

Le dimanche 17 mai, un préposé de l’élevage a signalé à la police que la grille de la ferme avait été forcée et que 32 canards avaient été dérobés. Le préjudice est estimé à Rs 10 000.

Saisie de l’affaire, la CID de Petite-Rivière, sous la supervision de l’inspecteur Jules, a ouvert une enquête. Avec l’appui du Divisional Crime Intelligence Unit (DCIU) de la division Ouest, les enquêteurs ont procédé à l’arrestation de deux suspects : Jean Marie Speville, 42 ans, et Yadav Dookit, 20 ans.

Lors de leur interrogatoire, les deux hommes sont passés aux aveux concernant ce vol. Une partie des canards voés a été récupérée par la police.
