What is happening now Happened around the 2000, when in MCP we had 2 camps, One supporting Vice president JZU Tembo (RIP) and the other supporting the president of the party Gwanda Chakuwamba (RIP) Both camps organised different conventions one in Blantyre ( which was supporting Gwanda) and the other in Lilongwe supporting JZU. the one in Blantyre was organised by the spokes person (might be collected) and tha in Lilongwe was organised by the general secretary. the all chose their presidentional candidates. but after the issue went to court as to who was the right candidate for the party. the judgement decleared JZU Tembo as a president of MCP because their convention was organised by the General Secretary of the party as he was the one mandated to call for such. after so many attepts to appeal Gwanda Quit MCP and formed his own party called NRP which later formed an alliance with many parties called Mgwirizano Collition. please dont think that what has happened today in DPP is mare drama. one someone will wake up alibe mpando. and Since the party meet at a personal residential home, the grouping othe grouping will just organise a place as its own headquarters. PLEASE PETER WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. The people whome he is trusting dont know politics. let the likes of Namalomba go throug history before making any suggestions otherwise the past will teach us alot.

Yes there is anger out there! But growing up in a village have you ever seen an incident where you are chasing a thief, the dogs are helping you and they have taken the lead chasing, running fast but suddenly the dogs stop somewhere just barking louder and louder! You look where they have stopped, it's a standing tree, mistaken for a human being to your disappointment? Meanwhile the thief is gone!

This is how it reads to me at the moment, the focus is gone and instead we have turned into.each other to the extent of wanting to burry someone alive reason ? His or her name was mentioned somewhere and yet we forget there is a difference between being mentioned and being linked under criminal law. Since am starting to talk about criminal law let me just go further before am judged to be defending someone here. Let's talk about the bail hearings pa UK.

Under the Bail Act 1976 without mentioning sections incase I am judged like akufuna kutionetsa ngati akuziwa zinthu, the reasons for bail hearings are to look at what liberties or freedoms or restrictions the suspects should have while under investigations. When a person is under investigations it means the evidence is still being gathered and let me pause there! Did you hear what I said? I will repeat the evidence regarding his alleged crime is still being gathered and those opposing bail.will be saying they fear the suspect will interfere with their witnesses if there are no restrictions imposed but the suspects' lawyers will be saying there will be no interferences with any investigations in assuring the judge that restrictions are not necessary and that is the bone of contention and this hearing according to UK criminal procedures doesn't last long most times its just a 30 minutes hearing. Please note this is only bail hearing. Its not a trial. What is the difference? The voluminous evidence of a crime are not in any form or shape submitted at a bail hearing. So if someone is telling you in a UK magistrates court explosive evidence was submitted with affidavits at a bail hearing it will be up to you to question if this is accurate I have just given you the breakdown on how things work.

Now if you look at what has been published on social media about certain individuals. Without jumping to their defence this information is in no way coming from the UK magistrates courts given the context and the way its presented. I can only suspect its coming from other sources within Malawi because here the case is at investigatory stage. Once all evidence is gathered the file is sent to the Crown Prosecution Services where they will review all the evidence and make a decision whether to charge the suspect or end the case with no further investigation. If he has already been charged they will set a trial date and it is at that stage where the full evidence with affidavits in short the bundle is looked at by the courts. Even if the full evidence is submitted the courts here, from my little knowledge , will not accept the bundle with unredacted names of people. Any individual that is mentioned their names will never appear on the evidence bundle as others have alleged.
The UK courts follow the Data Protection legislation under Data Protection Act 2018 strictly and for that reason it is almost impossible to have your name mentioned when you are not the one under criminal investigation. Sorry am now annoying some people with this and they will be asking where did those names of Chilima, Presidential aides come from, I leave that to you to find out but not from UK magistrates courts. Maybe its from within Malawi itself.

Someone will say they saw a court document opposing bail but what you were shown is a front page, bail application or opposing submissions don't last more than 3 pages here so if they showed you one page only ask yourself where are the remaining pages so you can see for yourself if what they are saying that so and so was mentioned is true? If you believe things without seeing original documents then I feel sorry for you it shows how one can easily fool you.

Now go back to my opening saying, we are barking at each other with insanity as if that will recover what has been looted and stolen forgetting the main target and the target is gone!🤣

Police have arrested a woman and two children who assaulted and undressed her in Balaka.

*A security and governance expert, Sherif Kaisi has cautioned, the country is heading towards a passport crisis due to delays to identify a new supplier of the passports after government terminated its contract with Techno Brain last year.*

Kaisi says the delay has opened room for more corruption as Malawians are now scrambling for passports with others allegedly conniving with officers to access the booklets.

“Running away from corruption but again, on the other hand, they will create that room for corruption because booklets of the passport will be scarce and in that case, people will be queuing to get a passport and therefore creating a chance for corruption practices,” said Kaisi.

Consumers Association of Malawi (CAMA) executive director, John Kapito narrates how he has been approached on several occasions with complaints by Malawi failing to access the document.

Kapito notes a proliferation of parallel systems that are allegedly conniving with officers to ease the production of the passports.

“We have also received complaints from people as a passport has become a document that everyone would want to have, we are creating corruption deliberately as a result of delays to identify a new supplier”

The immigration department however says government is doing everything possible to finalize the process of identifying a new supplier.

“The procurement process involves a lot of stakeholders to scrutinize the whole process and at the same time give feedback but we are at a very advanced stage,” said Wellington Chiponde, public relations officer for the department.

In December last year, Government terminated a contract worth MK50 billion with Techno Brain, a company that was hired to print 800, 000 passports following corruption allegations.```

Fearless human rights activist and freedom fighter Bon ‘Winiko’ Kalindo has hit back at self-styled social media influencer Stanley Onjezani Kenani on British Interference on Malawi’s security.

This follows series of Kenani’s facebook post directly attacking Kalindo whose crime was to demand an explanation from Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) as to why they allowed Britain Investigation Unit to investigate country’s weapons and Ammunition.

According to Kalindo, giving foreign investigators access to inspect country’s weapons and ammunition exposes Malawi’s weakness to the outside world which is a threat to state security.

But in his facebook posts, Kenani accused Kalindo of receiving money from some Malawians of Asian Origin in order to get rid of ACB boss Martha Chizuma as well as diverting people attention.

In 11 minutes viral audio clip made available to the publication, the comedian-cum politician Kalindo described Kenani’s allegation as false and baseless.

He further appealed to Kenani to learn to mind his own business.

“Mr. Kenani, please learn to mind your business…kodi chimene mukufuna kwa ine ndi chani? zoti inu mukufuna kukhala President wa dziko ndi maziwa?…Musiye kufuna kuwoneka mwa nzeru pa gulu” said Kalindo in the clip.


He added: “I’m asking authorities here on why they allowed Britain to investigate military weapons and ammunitions, Iam not asking you Mr. Kenani, ine zolowana mkabadula sindifuna,”

The man of the moment Kalindo also warned Kenani who resides in France to stop misquoting him.

Meanwhile, Kalindo has given five days to ACB Czar Martha Chizuma and Malawi Defence Force (MDF) Commander Vincent Nundwe to explain why they allowed Britain to investigate country’s ammunitions.

Bon Kalindo has since vowed to continue fight for Malawians who are voiceless.

Of cheating partners and exposing them

If you catch your partner cheating and you have decided not to forgive them, just leave them and continue with your life. There are a lot of other people waiting to love you and respect you. Catching a partner cheating is not the end of life.

This thing of filming and/or beating up your partner and/or their other partners they cheat with is not the right solution. When you film and expose them you only bring shame on yourself and it shows how weak your heart and mind is.

Lets not forget, there comes a time, when you have to put feelings aside and decide to forgive your partner, to raise kids, for instance, you become foolish and in the end, how do you live with someone you exposed? How do you enjoy a private part you exposed to the public? How do you explain the make up with the person you shamed publicly?

To those with kids, what message are you sending to them?

Understand, every person can cheat at any time. If you have not caught your partner or if you have not been caught, it's just a matter of time. Everyone has it in them, they can cheat, they have cheated and they will cheat. Make peace with it and prepare your mind so that when it happens to you, you don't go about parading your partner to Facebook, we don't even know what made them cheat in the first place. Ooh, there are always reasons.

Also to people in relationships, please, cheat respectfully. There are a lot of people looking up to you, including your partner. Be considerate and respectful with your cheating because your partner's pride and ego depends on how you carry yourself.
