Start by lying straight on your stomach breathing out as you suck in your abdominal muscle ( engagement) bending the knees pointing the feet, then reaching for the toes, feet/ankles with your hands. Lift the thighs as high as you can manage, then Lift chest and head, deeply breathing in and out through nose from the stomach without expanding and relaxing your stomach but keeping it tightened
Benefits of bow pose are:
It strengthens back muscles and improves back flexibility also improves a hunched back
It stretches the abdominal muscles
Opens chest and shoulders
Strengthens the hamstring as they contract at knee bend and stretches the quads( front thigh muscle at knee bend)
