Trial Day Look vs. Wedding Day Look

Your Hair & Makeup Trial Day is incredibly valuable!

A trial is not a test for the makeup artist—it’s an opportunity for the bride to decide the style she wants to wear on her wedding day.

It’s an important day to find out whether the hairstyle of your dreams is actually something you’ll love on yourself, and whether the makeup look you adore in photos is something you’ll enjoy wearing. If there’s anything you’re not completely happy with, this is the perfect time to make adjustments.

Many brides schedule trials with several artists to see “who makes them look best.” However, I strongly believe that if you love the artist but aren’t fully convinced by your trial look, that’s the perfect moment to communicate every detail you’d like to change until you find your ideal look.

The trial day is the first meeting between the bride and the artist, so it’s completely normal to love some things and feel unsure about others. By your wedding day, your artist will know exactly what you want, and you will too—allowing you to create the dream look you’ve envisioned.

Make sure to allow plenty of time for your trial appointment so you can carefully evaluate your hair and makeup and make any changes you’d like before the big day. ✨💕
