Today was one of our slower days, yet we still saw 7 clients between 8 AM and 1 PM. A few years ago, I thought seeing this many clients in a day meant feeling rushed and exhausted. It turns out the right systems and the right team make all the difference.

Now I get to slow down, enjoy every conversation, and give each client the best version of myself while doing what I genuinely love most.

Here’s a little glimpse into what a Saturday looks like behind the scenes.

Today was a little slower than usual. We normally see around 7 to 9 clients, but today we had 6, and honestly, it was really nice to move at a calmer pace.

We started with a red set for an upcoming vacation, followed by a natural hard gel base. We also had a new client who wanted her hands and toes to match, then finished with another coordinated set: solid color on the toes and a French manicure on the hands.

I ended the day feeling especially grateful for my amazing team. With their support, we were also able to spend some time working on an online class for everyone who has been asking how to learn and work this way.

Days like this are nice too.

I’m obsessed with what I do. Anyone who knows me knows that.

So when I got fully booked, I was in absolute denial about closing my books. I didn’t want to turn people away, but I also knew I didn’t want to be behind the chair 24/7 with no room to build anything beyond that.

I didn’t want to see fewer clients, make less money, or compromise the quality of my work. I wanted to figure out how to keep growing, see more people, and still give every client the level of detail this work requires.

So I did.

This is what a normal Wednesday looks like for me: 7 clients, beautiful Russian manicures, a team that supports the flow, and a system that lets me do what I love without getting stuck in one place.

Russian manicures can take 2–3 hours. Mine don’t take an hour because I’m rushing or cutting corners. They take an hour because I’ve built a process, trained support around it, and continue adjusting it as I grow.

I’m pushing myself to finish my client days earlier so I can make content, teach classes, hire and train my team, and work on the business, not only in it.

Because I don’t like to plateau. I need growth. I need to keep exploring what is possible.
