The photograph everyone posts at three weeks is not the result. Here is the real timeline.

Week one the splint comes off, you are swollen and you will not like the mirror — that is the expected part, not a bad sign. By month one you are presentable and back to your life. Between months three and six the bridge settles, while the tip stays thicker than it will be, because the tip is always the last to define.

At twelve months you have the shape you keep. Thicker skin can take up to eighteen. Judging a rhinoplasty at week three is judging swelling, which is why we photograph you the same way at every review — memory is a poor witness across a year, and the camera is not.

One more thing worth saying out loud: a rhinoplasty can be aesthetic, functional, or both. If you have never breathed well through one side, say so in the consultation. It changes the plan. 🤍

The surgery men do not talk about.

Gynecomastia is more common than the silence around it suggests, and it is the one thing the gym cannot fix. Not because you did not train hard enough — because it is not fat.

It is glandular tissue sitting behind the ar**la. It does not answer to diet or training, and liposuction alone falls short: suction takes the fat around it, but the gland has to be removed or the shape comes back. Losing weight often makes it more visible, not less, which surprises most patients.

It can come from puberty, hormonal shifts, certain medications or supplements. Frequently no single cause is found, and that changes nothing about the treatment.
