This historic bookcase has now been renovated, but the books are still here. They are open for exchange by guests!

It's such a pleasure to be surrounded by gorgeous works from well-known artists. This piece is by Marta Gilbert, an internationally celebrated painter who has captured scenes and portraits in and around Puerto Vallarta since 1971.

The main room of Casa Panoramica displays architect Guillermo Wulff's work quite well. In the typical Vallartense style that was inherited from the Spanish centuries ago, the beams in the ceiling are treated hard wood, and the orange slabs above them are called "mediopliegos" which are rectangular clay tiles that rest on the beams.

What better way to kick off or conclude a swim than a an outdoor shower on our sunny pool deck?

Casa Panoramica is full of wooden furniture meticulously handmade by local rustic carpenters. We've just completed restoring and revarnishing all of the wooden furniture in the house. It looks amazing - ready for another 100 years!

This lamppost in the middle of our panoramic view is aligned perfectly to NSEW. It's a bit like a lighthouse for our part of the hillside overlook.

¡Felices Pascuas de Resurrección! Flags made of "papel picado" are a traditional way to celebrate events such as holidays or weddings, and are common sights around neighborhoods in Mexico. If you're holding an event at Casa Panoramica, ask about special touches like these.

If you haven't visited recently, you likely haven't experienced our 4th floor terrace whirlpool bath! Relaxing with a view = time well spent.
