Beyond the Veranda and the glamping areas, our casitas await scattered quietly through the jungle. Each one in a private pocket beneath the canopy.

A place to wake with the sun, rest with the stars, and find the deep connection with nature that the noise of the modern world can mislead us to forget. No city hum in the background. No screens. Just you, the canopy, and the true rest that only comes when the jungle holds you from all sides. This is circadian living. This is the medicine of being present with the earth. 🌿 Find your own corner of this majestic selva. Come experience the purity and the mystery for yourself. Link in bio.

🌊 Janzu II at Casa Arkaana 🌊

We gathered once again in the waters of Casa Arkaana for the second part of our Janzu Training, guided with so much presence and wisdom by dear Flavio López.

✨💧✨ In this immersion, we explored more complex sequences, deeper states of trust, and the subtle art of holding another body in water with sensitivity, presence, and care.

Together, we continued learning how water is a powerful space of healing, surrender and remembrance — inviting us to soften, listen, release, and reconnect with the natural flow of life.

We feel so grateful to witness the Janzu community growing in such beautiful energy: a community rooted in evolution, healing, presence, and deep connection with the waters. 💦

Much gratitude to everyone who joined this journey with openness, courage, and heart to honour the medicine that water carries when we meet it with respect.

Stay tuned for upcoming experiences where we will continue deepening our relationship with Janzu and the healing intelligence of the waters — offerings we are very excited to keep sharing alongside dear Flavio ✨💧✨

✨🔥 To gather around the sacred fire and receive the living wisdom of an ancestral lineage is a rare and profound gift.

With deep gratitude, we welcome Mara'akame Filiberto Paritsika Carrillo and traditional musician Edgar de la Cruz for a Traditional Wixárika Ceremony at Casa Arkaana on August 1, 2026.

Filiberto carries the unbroken lineage of the Wixárika people, passed from elder to elder through generations. As a Mara'akame Cahuitero and former governor of his community, he serves as a bridge between worlds—holding sacred ceremony, prayer, and healing traditions that have endured since ancestral times.

Through the night, we gather around Tatewari, the Grandfather Fire, where traditional songs, prayers, cleansings, and offerings guide us on a journey from darkness to dawn. Together, we honor Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Sky, Rain, Sea, and Kauyumari, the Blue Deer—sacred forces that continue to guide the Wixárika path.

At the heart of the ceremony is Hikuri—the sacred cactus, living intelligence and teacher that has walked beside the Wixarika people since before memory.

As the first light of morning arrives, we emerge from ceremony renewed—having released what no longer serves us and reconnected with what is essential within.

A night of prayer. A night of remembrance. A night to sit beside an ancient tradition that continues to live, breathe, and guide.

✨💧Beneath the jungle of the Riviera Maya lies a hidden world of stillness, remembrance, and ancient waters.

The cenotes are sacred portals where the earth breathes, where the Mayan ancestors once gathered in reverence and ceremony, and where we are invited to slow down enough to listen. 🌿💧

Healing deepens when we can reconnect with the elements. Floating in the crystalline waters of a cenote, surrounded by limestone caves and underground currents, something softens and something activates within us. The mind opens. The heart softens. The body releases.

These ancient waters hold stories older than words, inviting us back into presence and transparecncy.

✨Come immerse yourself in the sacred waters with us. Casa Arkaana is surrounded by this liquid memory.

Nourishment is woven into every part of the experience in an intentional way, at Casa Arkaana. 🌿

Each meal is prepared with care, honoring the elements, land, hearts and hands that brought each ingredient into being. Nourishment is also in the quiet moments of stillness, where we’re invited to come into presence before starting to eat… Where we can breathe a little deeper, soften our edges, and truly arrive in our body. It’s in the spaces we share… grounded and open.. allowing connection to unfold naturally and without force.

Nourishment in this form isn’t rushed, it’s received. Gently, fully and consciously. A remembering of what it feels like to be supported, to be rooted, and to belong both within yourself and in harmony with the world around you. To learn more about how we can nourish you and your group, follow the link in our bio. ✨

Sustainable living is choosing and to live in a way that honors the Earth and holds our relationship with Nature in respect and reciprocity. To consume with awareness. To waste less, appreciate more, and remember that everything exists as part of a larger cycle.

It’s in the small, intentional choices: how we eat, how we move through space, how we care for the land, and how we care for each other. Over time, these choices become a way of living that feels more aligned, more grounded, and more congruent.
To live sustainably is to live in balanced relationship; with nature, with community, and with oneself.

If this way of living resonates with you, send us a message to learn more. We run specialised educational Permaculture Courses that empower you to live sustainably in the very particular conditions of the Caribbean Jungle. ✨
