Did you know the French manicure wasn’t actually invented in France?
In the 1970s, Hollywood manicurist Jeff Pink was looking for a universal nail style for actresses. Constantly changing nail polish for every outfit took too much time.
He created a natural pink base with white tips—a timeless look that matched everything.
After the style appeared at fashion shows in Paris, it became incredibly popular and was soon called the “French manicure.”
Today, it’s one of the most iconic nail styles in the world.
