Redness or itching after kindy snack time does not always mean a food allergy. Parents of children with eczema-prone skin need to notice this difference.
Does your child’s eczema become itchy after messy play with paint, glue or slime?
Children with eczema still deserve to run, climb, laugh and join their friends.
Eczema care should help children participate more comfortably — instead of avoiding outdoor play completely, prepare their skin and environment more carefully.

Children may not always know how to explain what their skin is feeling. Before simply telling them to stop scratching, pause and look at what may be triggering the discomfort.
Case solved: understand the skin feeling, then support the skin with a consistent moisturising routine.
Save this for the next time scratching becomes the suspect.
Sometimes it’s not just “lacking” something — eczema-prone skin often needs better skin barrier support, gentle cleansing, daily moisturising and trigger awareness.
Don’t wait for flare days to care for the skin barrier. Stronger skin days are built during ordinary days.
