The person who quits their job to care for a sick parent. No salary coming in. No savings being built. And their EPF? Locked.
Because “became a caregiver” isn’t a recognised category.

We’re quick to assume financial problems happen because of bad spending habits.

But sometimes it happens because you got sick. Or someone you love did.

And the system we have right now was never designed to handle that gap.

If you couldn’t work for the next 6 months — where would the money come from?
