Our first client of the day is all glammed up! 💙

Theme is 1960s Vintage, and the entire team is rocking classic vintage styles.

For her look, I designed a vintage finger wave hairstyle paired with a 60s-inspired makeup look, ensuring she steps into the venue with absolute confidence and elegance. ✨

🎬 《给阿嬷的情书》

原本以为是一部讲爱情的电影， 看完后，最让我感动的，却是**「情义」**。

那个年代的人，为了生活漂洋过海， 没有手机，没有网络， 一封封侨批，承载着思念，也承载着责任。

电影里让我印象最深刻的是郑木生。

虽然他自己不认识字， 却坚持让孩子们学习认字，也鼓励南枝一起学习。

因为他相信：

教育，也许不能马上改变一个人， 却能够改变一个家庭，甚至影响下一代。

多年以后， 那些曾经受他影响长大的孩子， 为了纪念他的善良与付出， 一起捐款，以郑木生的名字建立了一所学校。

看到这里，我真的很感动。🥹

有时候， 一个善意的举动， 当下看起来很平凡， 却可能改变许多人的一生。

郑木生没有留下很多财富， 却留下了教育的种子、善良的品格，还有影响他人的力量。

这让我想起一句话：

「真正有价值的人生，不是拥有多少，而是影响了多少人。」 🤍

谢谢这部电影， 让我更珍惜今天拥有的一切， 也提醒自己，继续做一个愿意帮助别人的人。

每一个微小的善意， 都有机会成为别人生命中的一道光。✨

A big thank you to my friend for inviting me to watch this meaningful movie. ❤️

At first, I thought it was simply a love story.

But after watching it, what touched me the most was kindness, responsibility, and the power of education.

One character who left a deep impression on me was Zheng Musheng.

Although he could not read or write himself, he encouraged children to learn and believed that education could change their future.

Years later, the children whose lives he had inspired grew up and came together to build a school in his honor.
That scene truly moved me. 🥹

It reminded me that even the smallest act of kindness can create a lasting impact.

A person may not leave behind great wealth, but they can leave behind values, hope, and opportunities for future generations.

Sometimes, the greatest legacy isn't what we own, but the lives we touch.

This time, she is attending the E-Shine Group 21st Anniversary Gala, themed "Mediterranean Blue & Lemon."

After reviewing the invitation she shared, I gained a clearer understanding of the overall vibe for the event. For this look, I chose a natural, fresh, and elegant direction.

没想到，当 International Speaker 上台演讲时，她突然停下来问：

「Hooi Ming，你在哪里？」

那一刻我真的愣住了。😳

我站在后面默默举手，

结果全场的人都转过来看着我。👀

我只能笑笑地挥挥手。😄🤗

接着，她公开感谢我帮她解决服装的问题，也感谢我分享了一些实用的小技巧。

说真的，我完全没想到她会在台上特别提起我。

更没想到，一个小小的举动，会被这样记住。

有时候，我们以为自己只是顺手帮个忙。

但对别人来说，却可能是在最需要的时候伸出援手。❤️

It was originally just helping solve a small issue.

But during an International Speaker’s talk, she suddenly paused and asked:

“Hooi Ming, where are you?”

I was completely stunned in that moment. 😳

I was standing at the back and quietly raised my hand.

Then the whole audience turned and looked at me. 👀

I could only smile and wave. 😄🤗

Later, she publicly thanked me for helping with her wardrobe issue and for sharing some practical tips.

Honestly, I never expected her to mention me on stage.

And I never thought such a small gesture would be remembered like this.

Sometimes, what we think is just a simple act of help…
might be exactly what someone needed at that moment. ❤️

🤍 女儿出嫁的这一天，

妈妈也是婚礼里最重要的人之一。

第一次见面时，
阿姨告诉我：

希望看起来有精神、有打扮，
但不要太浓，
还是想保留原本的自己。

包括她那一头自然的银灰发。

有人会问：

「为什么不把白发染黑呢？」

但我觉得，

这正是属于她的特色与魅力。✨

每个人对美的定义都不同。

有人喜欢改变，
有人喜欢保留。

而阿姨选择自在地做自己。

为了让发型更自然耐看，
我们花了不少时间调整头发的弧度与线条。

妆容方面则以提升气色为主，
让眼神更有神，
笑容更自信。

最让我开心的是，

当阿姨看着镜子里的自己时，
笑着说：

「原来我笑起来可以这么好看。」😊

而女儿看到后也马上说：

「好看啊！很适合妳，很漂亮。」

那一刻，
我知道今天的努力都值得了。🤍

🤍 A daughter’s wedding day is also a special day for her mother.

When we first met, she told me that she wanted to look polished and elegant, but still remain true to herself.

No heavy makeup.
No dramatic transformation.
Just a more radiant version of herself.

Including her naturally beautiful silver-grey hair.

Some people may ask,

"Why not dye it black?"

But personally, I think her silver-grey hair is part of what makes her unique and beautiful. ✨

Beauty comes in many forms.

Some choose to change.
Some choose to embrace who they are.

And she chose to confidently be herself.

Because of her naturally strong and resistant hair texture, we spent extra time shaping and refining the hairstyle to create a soft and flattering look that would last throughout the celebration.

For the makeup, the goal was simple:
enhance her features, brighten her complexion, and bring out the warmth in her smile.

My favourite moment came when she looked at herself in the mirror and said:

"I didn't know my smile could look this beautiful." 😊

Then her daughter saw the final look and immediately replied:

"You look beautiful. It really suits you."

At that moment, I knew all the effort was worth it. 🤍

🤍 她原本并不打算化妆。

长期在国外生活的她， 习惯了简单、自在的生活方式。

原本的计划是： 简单打个底妆， 把头发夹起来， 舒服地出席自己的宴会。

后来因为家人的一句话：

「结婚一生一次，希望妳漂漂亮亮地出嫁。」

于是她决定尝试让专业造型师帮忙完成当天的妆发。

她的要求很简单：
✔ 保留原本的自己 ✔ 不戴假睫毛 ✔ 不刷 mascara ✔ 不要厚重妆感 ✔ 发型简单自然

所以这次的妆容重点， 不是改变她，

而是让她看起来像平时的自己， 只是更有精神、更有气色、更适合婚礼当天。

每位新娘对于美的定义都不同。

有人喜欢华丽， 有人喜欢精致，
而她喜欢的是：

舒服自在地做自己。🤍

Having lived overseas for many years, she has grown used to a simple and carefree lifestyle.

Her original plan was straightforward: a light base makeup, pin her hair up, and comfortably attend her wedding celebration.

Then her family said something that touched her:
"Getting married is a once-in-a-lifetime moment. We hope to see you looking beautiful on your special day."

That was when she decided to trust a professional makeup artist with her bridal look.
