Balayage wasn’t chosen to make this hair blonde. It was chosen to reveal the haircut.
Long hair wasn’t the problem. The shape was.
This guest wanted to keep her length, so instead of cutting it shorter, we redesigned the shape with long layers to remove unnecessary weight and create natural movement.
To complete the look, we added a dark blonde balayage—not to create a dramatic blonde transformation, but to add depth, define every layer, and enhance the haircut.
