M20 concrete is one of the most commonly used grades in construction, especially for columns, beams, slabs, and footings. The standard mix ratio for M20 concrete is 1 : 1.5 : 3 (Cement : Sand : Aggregate) with a water–cement ratio of 0.45–0.50. For one 50 kg cement bag, approximately 22–25 liters of water is required.
To achieve strong and durable concrete, always use clean materials, ensure proper mixing, perform vibration for compaction, and cure the concrete for at least 7 days. Proper workmanship and correct proportions help the structure reach its required 20 MPa strength.
