A day trip to Johor Bahru, or JB, isn't exactly an idyllic getaway, but many Singaporeans still flock there to shop, eat, top up petrol or even SPA nowadays. It's just a short drive across either of the causeways, but you still get that good feeling of leaving the country, especially when the current exchange rate is around RM2.40 to S$1. From the new JB customs, follow Jln Tebrau Exit 3, travel along short 500m Jln Lingkaran Dalam, pass Shell petrol station on your left, and turn right to Jln Tebrau. Drive straight till you arrive and take left filter to Jln Dato Sulaiman (after Crystal Crown Hotel on your left). Drive for 1km and alongside Holiday Plaza shopping mall on your right. At Mutiara Hotel on right, take left turn to Spa Manja parking entrance (lane referred to as Jln Wazir right after Spa Manja signboard), where Spa Manja is situated at a cozy corner semi-detached house. Duration of journey from new JB customs is approximately 8 minutes' drive.
