Yes with all the hype on this second product of KA, my sister jumped on the bandwagon and was one of the contributor to the 3 min of 1M sales record 😁

So she sent me a packet out of the 6 packets she bought. And I tried it with a small portion of white rice and a sunny side up. And I was really surprised. It was not up to my standard at all 😬

Okay firstly, I love his Sambal Nyet cos the spicy level is the one that I can tolerate. And I am not a fan of overly cili padi type of spicy eater. So I had quite a high expectation for his dendeng product. But boy, I was disappointed. You know when you taste something amazing and you just go wow?
I did not get that wow factor. I know there is nothing wrong with MSG but the dendeng was just full of that MSG flavour.

Spicy level was lower than I expected and the aromatic flavour of dendeng was missing. My sister told me there were recommendations online to mix the dendeng with his sambal nyet to make it taste better. And I was like why? The meat was too mincy to my liking.

Then again, I know it is difficult to create a recipe and maintaining it through a business. What you cook at home will never be the same like the one you buy out of factory made but there are cases it tasted better.

Anyway, this is just my opinion and from a cook’s perspective feedback and I know KA will upgrade the dendeng soon and he is still my favorite influencer of all time! ❤️❤️❤️

It was a beautiful wedding. Food was delicious but the time spent with friends was far more precious. I am happy to witness .tharmabalan getting hitched and I am glad I wore this neon saree to her wedding 😆😆
