Today, we had the privilege of taking two representatives from one of our longest-standing payroll clients—a Government-Linked Company (GLC)—out for lunch to express our heartfelt appreciation for their trust and support over the past 20 years.
Sadly, the company has ceased operations, and all its employees have been retrenched. One of them had dedicated more than 30 years of service to the organisation, while the other had served for over 10 years. It is truly heartbreaking to witness such a significant chapter in their lives come to an end.
What touched us deeply was that the first thing they said when they arrived at the restaurant was:
“We are so happy with your service. Michelle’s turnaround is super fast, even though we always provide the information so late. Her response is immediate, and she is always so helpful and accommodating.”
Hearing these words meant more to us than they could ever know. It was a powerful reminder that beyond payroll figures, deadlines and reports, what truly matters are the relationships we build, the trust we earn and the support we provide during both good and difficult times.
It was an emotional farewell when we parted ways, but we sincerely hope this is not goodbye. May our paths cross again someday, God willing.
To our valued client and friends, thank you for allowing PM Resources to be part of your journey for the past two decades. We wish each and every one of you strength, courage and brighter opportunities ahead.

📢 𝐄-𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬
The Ministry of Finance has introduced a Special Voluntary Disclosure Program for e-Invoices, allowing eligible taxpayers to voluntarily correct, update, or submit e-Invoices without penalties until 31 December 2027.
The program applies to taxpayers who:
✅ Submitted e-Invoices but omitted certain transactions
✅ Submitted e-Invoices containing errors or information that does not comply with requirements
✅ Have not submitted e-Invoices despite being subject to mandatory implementation
Taxpayers are encouraged to review their e-Invoice submissions and ensure all declarations are accurate and aligned with HASiL’s guidelines.
💡 In addition, businesses can benefit from accelerated tax incentives, including full capital allowance claims within one year for eligible ICT equipment and software expenses incurred for e-Invoice implementation.
📅 Deadline: 31 December 2027
This initiative aims to ease compliance costs and support businesses, particularly MSMEs, in their transition towards full e-Invoice compliance.

The Government has announced that contributions to PERKESO’s Lindung 24 Jam (Non-Employment Injury Scheme) are no longer mandatory for Malaysian workers.
Key Updates:
✅ Participation is now voluntary for local workers
✅ Foreign workers remain subject to mandatory contributions
✅ Contribution rate remains at 0.75% of monthly wages
✅ Contributions are fully borne by employees
✅ Covers accidents occurring outside working hours and outside the workplace
📌 PERKESO will announce the voluntary participation mechanism soon.
Employers and employees are encouraged to stay updated on further announcements and understand the benefits available under the scheme before making participation decisions.

📉 Malaysia’s unemployment rate has fallen to 3.0% in 2025, marking the country’s lowest unemployment rate in the past decade.
According to the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), the labour market continued to strengthen throughout the year, supported by rising employment, higher labour force participation, and improving youth employment.
Key highlights:
✅ Employment increased to 16.58 million people
✅ Labour force participation rate rose to 70.8%
✅ Youth unemployment declined to 9.6%
✅ Underemployment rates continued to improve
