upon the directions of DHO mardan Dr shoaib sb distt coordinator public health Dr Robina Riaz arranged a free medical camp at Dar ul aman mardan. All females were examined .. Dr hifsa zahoor advised isolation of some pts with contagious skin infections to avoid further spread .. free medicines distributed among pts .. awarness sessions given regarding mental health , other health issues and personal hygiene .

*Oversight Committee Visit to District Mardan*

An Oversight Committee conducted a field visit to assess malaria-related activities in District Mardan. The visiting team included Dr. Faisal (CCM), Dr. Inam Kakar (CMU), Muhammad Faisal Rana (MEAL Manager, IHHN Islamabad), and the District Malaria Team Mardan.

The team visited key health facilities, including DHQ Mardan, Samson's Trust Hospital Pvt, CD Par Hoti, and MMC Mardan. During the field visits, several operational and service delivery issues were identified.

Following the completion of the visits, a detailed meeting was held at FPHC/MCP in the supervision of *Dr. Robina Riaz, Public Health Coordinator,* DHO Office Mardan. All observed issues were thoroughly discussed, and it was agreed that the concerns would be further addressed with the relevant doctors, FFPs, and other responsible staff.

*ڈپٹی کمشنر مردان کا دارالامان کا اچانک دورہ – فلاحی سہولیات، نفسیاتی معاونت اور طبی خدمات کے لیے اہم ہدایات جاری*

مردان: مورخہ 22 اپریل 2025 کو ڈپٹی کمشنر مردان *ڈاکٹر عظمت اللہ وزیر* نے دارالامان مردان کا اچانک دورہ کیا۔ اس موقع پر ان کے ہمراہ ڈسٹرکٹ آفیسر سوشل ویلفیئر ڈیپارٹمنٹ مردان، جناب شعیب خان بھی موجود تھے۔

ڈپٹی کمشنر نے دارالامان میں مقیم خواتین سے ملاقات کی اور ان کے مسائل سنے۔ انہوں نے موقع پر ہی متعلقہ حکام کو ہدایت دی کہ تمام مسائل کو فوری اور مؤثر انداز میں حل کیا جائے تاکہ خواتین ایک محفوظ، باوقار اور سہولت یافتہ ماحول میں اپنی زندگی گزار سکیں۔

انہوں نے کچن، خوراک کے معیار، صفائی، رہائش، صحت و صفائی اور دیگر بنیادی سہولیات کا جائزہ لیا۔ خواتین کی ذہنی صحت کے حوالے سے انہوں نے یہ ہدایت جاری کی کہ ایک ماہر *سائیکالوجسٹ/سائیکو تھراپسٹ ہ* ر ہفتے کم از کم ایک مرتبہ دارالامان کا دورہ کرے گا، جہاں وہ خواتین کی ذہنی صحت کی سکریننگ، مشاورت اور معاونت فراہم کرے گا۔

ڈپٹی کمشنر نے ایک اور اہم فلاحی اقدام کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ پبلک ہیلتھ کوآرڈینیٹر روبینہ ریاض کی نگرانی میں ڈی ایچ او آفس مردان کی جانب سے *مفت طبی کیمپ کا انعقاد* کیا جاتا ہے، جس میں دارالامان میں مقیم خواتین کے طبی معائنے، مختلف ٹیسٹ اور بیماریوں کی تشخیص کی جاتی ہے۔ اس سہولت کو مزید منظم اور مؤثر بنانے کی بھی ہدایات جاری کی گئیں۔

دورے کے اختتام پر ڈپٹی کمشنر نے جاری فلاحی کوششوں کو سراہا اور یقین دہانی کروائی کہ ضلعی انتظامیہ خواتین کی فلاح و بہبود، تحفظ اور بحالی کے لیے تمام تر وسائل بروئے کار لاتی رہے گی۔

Community awareness regarding Dengue prevention and control is the key part of DAP 2025
For this purpose Public health Coordinator Dr Robina Riaz along with
Medical Entomologist Muhammad Afzal and Mansoor Ahmad visited Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Rustam gave a comprehensive training to the headmistress and teachers of Tehsil Rustam for Dengue prevention & control.
The Medical Entomologist explained the life cycle of mosquitoes.
The aim of training was to educate & demonstrate the effectiveness of teaching children about the dengue control, clinical manifestations & prevention strategies
Questions of participants were answered thoroughly.
Dr Robina Riaz delivered a detailed lecture on Dengue prevention and control and an interactive discussion was done with teachers. Training showed significant improvements in knowledge, attitude and practices among high school students as well as decreased larval indices in their household. Teachers were encouraged to educate their students & community about dengue signs, symptoms, treatment & control along with identifying larva, mosquito stages, biological characteristics & health implications.Training showed significant improvements in knowledge, attitude and practices among high school students as well as decreased larval indices in their house holds.
