How to get wax out of a candle jar :

➡️ Freeze the candle wax

- place candle in the freezer for several hours or until it is frozen
- the wax should pop right out of the jar but you can also loosen it with a butter knife
- scrape off any residue and then clean the jar with soap and water

* this method only works for glass candle jars

Candle care 101, before you burn. 🤎

By putting out your candle carefully, you'll avoid a burnt, smoke-scented room that takes away the mood you created by lighting your candle. 🤎

Candle snuffer is a long metal rod with a bell-shaped cone at the end. Putting the candle snuffer on a flame cuts off the supply of oxygen which quickly extinguishes it. 🤎

Accidentally cut your wick too short?

Here are the 3 steps to fix candle wicks that are buried or too short.

🔻 Step 1 : Melt it - if your wick was trimmed too short, melt the wax until you have an even layer of liquid wax on the surface.

If your wick was buried because its either tilted, bent or curled, stop heating the wax once it's soft.

🔻 Step 2 : Dig it - If your wick was too short, pour out the wax that you melted. You can also use a paper towel to dab and soak up the excess wax.

If your wick was burried, use a pair of tweezers to nudge the wick back to upright position, making sure it sticks above the surface of the wax.

🔻 Step 3 : The last step is to light your candle again and reset it's 'memory' by evenly melt the entire top layer of wax.

Never leave a burning candle unattended or lit while sleeping. 🙅‍♀️

If you are going to leave the room or go to bed, be sure to extinguish all candles first. Remember, safety first!

Soy wax has a 'melt memory'. The first time you burn it, you need to wait until the was has melted across the whole top so the next tune you light it up, the wax will spread across rather than just melting down in the middle - forming a tunnel.
