Shirley Raines, a true beacon in her community and the founder of Beauty 2 The Streetz, died at her home in Nevada. She was 58.⁠ ⁠ A mother of six, Ms. Shirley devoted her life to serving others. Through her nonprofit Beauty 2 The Streetz, she brought food, resources, dignity and hope to people living on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles — one of the largest unhoused communities in the country — and beyond.⁠ ⁠ Her impact was immeasurable.
