Recently there is a trend of using clay mask into skincare routine. But most of us didn’t know the right way of using it.
Let me share to you some dos and don’ts of CLAY MASK.

✅ Remove make up or face cleansing oil before applying clay mask.
❌Applying clay mask without removing make up and face cleansing oil.

The function of clay mask is to absorb excess sebum on face. So generally, clay mask is suggested for those who have combination to oily skin type. Clay masks are rich in minerals such as magnesium, iron and calcium that can provide some nutrients for our skin.
If applying a clay mask on a dirty surface, the effectiveness of the clay mask may not be seen and can even clog the pores and cause more acne formation.

✅Clay mask should be applied evenly all over the face and neck. Please do not apply around the eyes area.
❌Applying clay mask too little or too much.

✅Use spatula to scoop the clay mask from its packaging.
❌Use finger to scoop the clay mask. It may lead to bacteria contamination and reduce the shelf life of the product and at the same time will cause pimples and acne on the face.

✅Softly apply the clay mask on wet face and wait for 10-15 minutes. Since Rubykaa Clay Mask is 2 in 1 clay mask, you need to exfoliate or scrub your face gently before rinsing. Then gently rinse it off completely.
