A new outlet is a big commitment, and this one has been in the works for longer than you think.

Feeling the heat? 🥵 Don’t worry, you’re not the only one.
That sudden warmth you feel under the UV/LED lamp is called a heat spike. It happens when the gel begins curing and hardening.
It’s completely normal—but if it feels too hot, don’t force yourself to endure it.
Instead:
💅 Let your nail technician know.
💅 Gently lift your hand out of the lamp.
💅 Keep your hand in the same position.
💅 Wait a few seconds before placing it back in.
⚠️ Avoid pulling your hand away too quickly, as this can affect the curing process.
If the heat is consistently intense, it’s worth mentioning too.
Repeated excessive heat can increase the risk of nail damage, including the nail lifting away from the nail bed.
A simple heads-up to your nail technician can make your appointment much more comfortable—and help protect your natural nails.
