This is something I’ve been meaning to share with all of you for a long time. As some of you already know, Toda officially closed its doors in August 2024.

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who supported Toda throughout the past six years. In my 15 years in the hair industry, the moments at Toda have been the most precious and memorable ones. It was here that I truly felt the depth of connection with all of you, and I will always hold those memories close to my heart.

In those years, I had the privilege of hearing so many of your life stories—stories that touched my heart, changed my perspective, and taught me lessons I’ve carried into my own life. You trusted me, a stranger, with not just your hair but your hopes, struggles, and triumphs, and I will always treasure that connection.

As my journey as a hairstylist came to an end, I started to notice changes in myself—my skills, my stamina, and perhaps my passion. Whether it was burnout or just the passage of time, I realized I wasn’t the same stylist I was a few years ago. I lacked the drive to keep learning and improving, and that led to mistakes. Mistakes that made me feel like I wasn’t giving you the best you deserved. After a lot of reflection, I knew it was time to let go and pursue a new chapter in my life.

But know this: you weren’t just my clients—you were my friends. If you ever see me around, please don’t hesitate to say hello! Ask me for hair advice if you still trust me (haha), or just share how life has been treating you. I’d love to hear how much better you’re doing now.

Thank you for everything—for your trust, your kindness, and for allowing me to be a small part of your journey. This isn’t just goodbye to Toda; it’s a farewell to an era filled with memories I’ll cherish forever.
