Puasa Hari Arafah, or fasting on the Day of Arafah, is a significant observance in Islam. It takes place on the 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic lunar calendar, and is the day before Eid al-Adha. This day holds immense importance because it coincides with the day when pilgrims performing Hajj stand on the plain of Arafat, engaging in prayer and reflection.
