The best thing I could have ever done for myself was getting used to going to events, places, outings or dates alone. My own company is enough. I’ve gotten comfortable with the fact that my friends won’t always be available or we might not have similar interests in some things and that’s okay.

It’s the middle of June 2026, and one thing I love is that I’m fully present in the season I currently find myself in. What that means is that I am not looking back at what I should’ve done better, or looking forward to what’s to come in the future. It simply means that I am present in the NOW, this moment, this second.

I’m taking a second to just be grateful for the life I get to live. I am healthy, I have a roof over my head, my belly is full, I don’t owe anyone money, my family loves me and I have everything I need. Life couldn’t be better. Glory to God.

And oh, my biggest flex is that I did my own hair in this photo. 🤭🤏🏽
