She gave birth in prison and needed divine intervention to gain freedom. I wasn’t even supposed to be in court today.

Three minutes before I arrived, I was informed that my matter wasn’t listed in the cause list, the registrar had given me a wrong date. Ordinarily, I would have turned back to the office, but something in me insisted on going into the courtroom.

Nothing prepared me for what I saw just ten minutes later.

A young girl in her early 20s walked in, holding her one month old baby, dressed in prison uniform.

I gently asked her what had happened. She told me she had put to bed inside the prison barely a month ago. She had been arrested in April for a misdemeanor, while pregnant and had remained in custody since then. She was also standing trial without a lawyer.

When her case was called, I immediately rose and announced appearance for her.

The complainant was not in court.
The prosecutor was present today, but not ready to proceed.
They had not been attending court for several adjournments.

So I urged the court to strike out the matter and acquit the defendant, relying on the relevant provisions of the ACJL Lagos and the applicable case law.

Your Honour, Mrs. A. K. Dosunmu Uthman, struck out the charge, discharged and acquitted her and the entire courtroom erupted in applause.

John Mary, young mother who walked in wearing prison clothes walked out a free woman.

I left the courtroom smiling, deeply convinced that God directed my steps today.

We took a patient to A&E (accident and emergency) unit of the Abia State teaching hospital this morning.
And right before us... A woman who was alive by our arrival gave up the ghost in few minutes later.
It's was like a movie, which I can tell what the children and acquaintances did there is suprise, disbelief, shock, trauma and heart break.

Everywhere became still!!!

Few minutes later... A woman came out sobbing and talking to herself, obviously traumatized.
"This is not what you told me" she was saying.
"This wasn't the plan, leavingo the children for me alone" Ngwanụ, leenụ m lee motorcycle"
You can relate 😓

Why we were sober, talking about it. Someone told us there had been seven corpses allegedly taken away before our arrival.

I checked the time... It's was around some minutes past 12 pm and such number of people are gone already.
Okay... I don't wanna talk more of other things we experienced.
But I want to tell you that "Madu na anwụ anwụ" truly person dey die. Death is real.

If you go to a pharmacy, take malaria and typhoid medicines, pain relief, BP or medicines for sugar, infections etc and get well.... You don't know what God is doing for you through the pharmacies and health care givers around you.
Hospital isn't a place to go. Because there's where people survive or DIE.

Give God glory for your life and that of your family.
Forgive your offenders
Make peace with God and humanity.
Don't boast of who you are. You're nothing!

What Is Tuberculosis?
Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious infection that usually attacks your lungs. It can also spread to other parts of your body, like your brain and spine. A type of bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis causes it.

This bacteria is thought to be over 3 million years old. Knowledge of the disease dates back to ancient Greece and Rome. Tuberculosis, formerly called consumption, was the top cause of death in the U.S. at the beginning of the 20th century. It still kills more than a million people worldwide every year.

People with HIV/AIDS and others with weakened immune systems are at higher risk of getting tuberculosis because their bodies have a harder time fighting the bacteria.

SYMPTOMS OF TB

People may experience:
=Pains around the chest
=Pain circumstances can occur while breathing and one may be experiencing difficulty breathing
=Cough: can be very chronic, long coughing out blood mucus most times.
=Whole body chills, fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, malaise, or night sweats
=Also common: wasting, muscle atrophy, phlegm, shortness of breath, or swollen lymph nodes.

It's considered to have types and stages. Which is used to consider it's severity and level.
1 primary TB
2 latent TB
3 Active TB
4 Active outside the lungs( extra pulmonary tuberculosis)

Note: TB is highly contagious. Stay away from a suspected patient and go for a check up if you suspect it yourself.
