Sometimes it's good to fill Big....

Cosmo FM was created in 2003.

This was one of the best radio stations in the South East back then.

It made our childhood so fun.

Who doesn’t know Cosmo FM?

"It’s Cosmo baby awwwwww"—that’s their usual anthem.

I can still remember some of the programs vividly.

This FM was the birth of so many radio stations in the South East.

I still don’t understand how it wasn’t managed properly that it ceased operation.

It gave birth to so many intelligent OAPs.

If you don’t know Cosmo FM, you are probably a Gen Z.

But most Gen Z knew about it then.

One of my favourite programs back then was the one that talked about scary things, especially at midnight.

It was so scary, but I enjoyed listening to it and even fell asleep while listening to it.

Cosmo was our Facebook, Instagram, and X then.

It wasn’t just a radio station.

It was a lifestyle among young and old.

It was a radio who brought out so many Igbo artist back then.

Some programs like House Party, Ehee, Lean on me, Cruz control show etc
Djs and anchors like, Dj Fx2 (the craziest Dj), Dj grandfingerz, Chuks the spaceman, Raph the sport man, Ogus Baba (the prince of fun), Vanessa, Sydney, Zoe, Cleopatra etc

We knew about Flavour. Dekumzy etc because of the station.

It made waves in Nigeria then.

What happened to Cosmo FM?

I have asked countless times why stuff like this doesn’t last in the South East.

I went there last week, and lo and behold, the building has now turned into a residential apartments..
