REFLECTION

Saturday of week 25 of year 2 reminds us of the fleeting nature of life and the important of wisdom. Ecclesiastes urges young people to enjoy life, but always in awareness that God Judges our actions. Life is temporary , and all human efforts without God is vanity.

Psalm 90 teaches to recognize our mortality and seek God's guidance . Asking him to fill our day with wisdom and His steadfast love.

In the gospel, Jesus warns his disciples of his coming suffering and de^ath, a mystery that they are yet to comprehend. This call us to trust in God's plan , even when we do not fully understand it.

The readings invite reflection on the brevity of life , the need for humility and the important of preparing our hearts for God's eternal presence while living faithfully in the present.

REFLECTION

Friday of week 25 year 2 reminds us that lives unfold in God's timing. Ecclesiastic teaches that there is a season for everything under heaven _ birth and dea^th , mourning and joy, sowing and harvesting .while we may not fully understand God's plan , he has made all things beautiful in there time and placed eternity in our hearts.

Psalm 144 praises God as our rock, fortress and shield, acknowledging our dependency on his mercy and protection in the fleetingness of life.

In the gospel, Jesus asks his disciples who people say he is. Peter confesses him as the Christ , yet Jesus reveals that Messiah must suffer , be rejected ,di-e and rise again.

We are called to trust God's timing , recognize Jesus as the Christ and follow his path of humble service and obedience even when it leads through suffering.

Thursday of week 25 year 2 invites reflection on the fleeting nature of human life and the ultimate source of meaning in God.

The first reading from ecclesiastic highlights the emptiness of human tools and achievements"Under the sun". Everything passes , generation come and go, and the world cycle continues unchanged . Without God human endeavors can feel ultimately futile.

Psalm 90 responds with God's eternal nature and our dependency on him. It call us to"number our days wisely seeking God's mercy and blessings in all that we do.

In the gospel, Herod hears of Jesus deeds and wonders about his identity , showing that even rulers struggles to understand God's work. This point to the important of faith and discernment rather than relying on human speculation.

The readings together reminds us to anchor our life in God. Recognize our mortality, and seek his guidance trusting that true understanding and purpose comes from him alone.
