MY INSTINCT

I haven’t felt this way before.🤨

So on that fateful day, I went to the market to get a few things because I was already preparing to go back to school. When I finished buying what I needed and was about going home, I suddenly sighted this fine quality leather bag hanging in a small space-like shop.

Immediately, I remembered that I needed a tote bag for lectures.
I went back to price it. The bag was an O.K bag, but first grade — still very new and sharp.

When I got closer, it was a man selling.
I asked him, “Oga how much for the bag?”
He replied, “20k.”

I said, “Ah, that’s quite expensive.”
He asked, “How much you get?”

I jokingly said, “₦2,500.”

He smiled and said, “The money no reach o…”
I started leaving, then he suddenly called me back:
“Come and take it.”

Ah! I wasn’t even expecting that.
I went back, collected the bag, and gave him the money.

As I was walking away, my instinct started talking:

“What if this is a dead man trying to sell off his property to recover money?”🤨🤔

Omo, the thought no gree leave my mind.
Around 10pm, I even carried the bag outside like:

“If this bag disappear by morning, that means na dead man sell am give me oo.” 😂😂

Morning came…
Bag no disappear! 😂😁😂

At this point I just told myself, “If cheap things no kill me, nothing fit.” 😹😂

Omo I started using my thing, but the instinct still dey small small. 😹😂
