So many people are guilty of this.
Why are you always fond of not easing yourself when you're clearly pressed?
Instead, you will wait as if you’re waiting for the village people to hold a meeting on your head before finally making a move.
This your habit is not just funny, it’s risky. That ignorance might be causing you more harm than you realize, and if care is not taken, it could lead to serious health issues in the future.
Holding urine for too long is not just uncomfortable, it’s dangerous. It can lead to:
•Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
•Bladder infections
•kidney damage in extreme cases
•Bladder stretching, which weakens its function over time
•Painful urination and discomfort
Please, when your body signals you, respond. The toilet is not your enemy. Stop acting like you are training for a pain endurance contest.
Take care of your health—little things like this matter.

I still remember my first period as a teenager. The first month came with excitement as I had finally been welcomed into womanhood! But to my surprise, the next month came, and there was no period.
You know na, after hearing all the gist that if you miss your period, you’re pregnant! Me, a whole virgin, started asking questions oh! I even checked our doors and windows to see if someone had entered and shifted anything, because how!
That month, I had fallen ill, which probably caused the delay. Depression nearly finished me that day! I started thinking of all the things I had not done in my life.
Honestly, ignorance will whine you until you know better. Many young girls have panicked over a late period without understanding how the menstrual cycle actually works. It’s funny now, but at that moment, fear gripped my soul!
The truth is, irregular periods are common in teenagers, especially in the first few years after menstruation begins. The body is still adjusting to hormonal changes, which can cause cycles to vary in length, occasional missed periods, or even spotting.
Factors like stress, weight fluctuations, excessive exercise, poor diet, and conditions like PCOS can also contribute to irregularity.
So, to every young girl going through this, relax! Your body is just figuring things out, and that’s okay. Learn about your cycle, ask questions, and don’t let ignorance or fear control you.
And most importantly, unless there is a real reason to be, missing a period does not automatically mean you’re pregnant!

I rushed out in a hurry this morning and forgot to carry an extra pad. It didn’t seem like a big deal until I realized we would be closing late and there were no shops around.
I had no choice but to stay with the one I wore from home. By the time work ended, I felt so uncomfortable as there was an unpleasant odor, irritation, and just this uneasy feeling I noticed.
Wearing a pad or tampon for too long is not just uncomfortable, it can also cause:
•Bad odor❌
•Skin irritation & rashes❌
•Bacterial infections (like UTIs)❌
•Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS)❌
Sis, let’s not take chances with our health. Change your pad/tampon every 4-6 hours. Stay fresh, stay safe! ❤️

The first time I saw my period, it was all confusion and panic. I kept questioning myself as if I had created my own body. What is this? How did this happen?
I remember asking my friends if the place I had sat on had sharp objects because I couldn’t understand what was happening. I did everything I could to figure it out, but as a young girl who knew nothing about menstruation, I was deeply troubled.
The shock even made me feel ill—until someone finally enlightened me about menstruation.
That experience taught me an important lesson: girls need to be early informed.
So, as mothers, sisters, wives, nurses, and doctors, please take the time to educate the young girls around you about menstruation. Don’t assume they are too young because that was exactly what happened to me.
I was unprepared and confused, and I don’t want others to go through the same.
Let’s spread this message and ensure no girl is left uninformed.

Bedroom Romance Gone Wrong 😲
Emeka confided in me about a frustrating issue in his marriage. Ever since he tied the knot with his wife, their intimacy had been normal, and they were truly enjoying themselves. However, just a month after the wedding, things took a sudden turn.
Now, whenever he tries to get close to her, she avoids him, saying she’s not in the mood. This constant rejection has left him confused and frustrated. My guy is wondering—how long will he have to endure this? Na so konji wan kpai person?
know this.
"As a man, you might be ready all the time, but your woman isn’t always in the mood—and that’s normal.
Women’s desire is tied to emotions, stress, and connection. If she’s not in the mood, it’s not just about the moment—it’s about everything leading up to it.
Hormonal shifts, exhaustion, mental overload, unresolved emotions, lack of affection outside the bedroom—all these play a role.
Intimacy isn’t just physical for her; it’s mental and emotional too. Pay attention to the little things outside the bedroom, and you’ll see a difference inside it.”
Keep the connection strong beyond intimacy, and you'll see the difference when it counts.
Hope this helps.

I don’t smo-ke. In fact, I’ve never smo-ke-ed in my life and never will—at least, that’s what I told a friend when she asked me.
But unknown to me, I’ve been indulging in it all along. Since birth, I have unknowingly inhaled it—and I still do.
Not just me. You too.
Let me shock you a little.
Do you know that when you inhale smo-ke from someone smo-king nearby, even behind you, you’re also smo-king?
Second hand smo-ke is just as dangerous as smo-king itself. It seeps into your lungs, affects your health, and leaves behind invisible scars. You don’t have to hold a ciga-rette to be at risk—the air around you does the damage for you.
Studies have shown that secondhand smo-ke can cause lung diseases, heart problems, and even cancer. It affects children, the elderly, and even unborn babies in the womb. And the worst part? Unlike a smo-ker, you didn’t choose this—you were forced into it.
So, the next time you find yourself near someone who is smo-king, remember: you have a choice, but your lungs don’t.
Speak up. Protect yourself. And if you smo-ke, think about those around you. Because every puff you take, someone else takes it with you.
