Ingrown hairs on the chin in women are usually caused by hairs curling back or growing sideways into the skin instead of rising up from the follicle. Here are the common causes:

1. Hair Removal Methods
• Shaving or tweezing can cause sharp tips or broken hairs that grow back into the skin.
• Frequent removal irritates the skin and alters hair growth direction.

2. Hormonal Imbalance
• Elevated androgens (male hormones) can lead to coarse, curly hair growth on the chin.
• Common in conditions like Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS).

3. Curly or Coarse Hair Type
• Curly hairs naturally tend to curl back into the skin.
• This makes women with Afro-textured or coarse hair more prone.

4. Dead Skin Cell Buildup
• When pores or hair follicles are clogged with oil, dead skin, or makeup, hair struggles to break through the surface, leading to ingrowns.
ETC…

Reflecting on my journey through
Aesthetics school, I recall walking into this aesthetic school in 2024 with a mixture of doubt and fear, because I knew that balancing work and education was going to be stressful, l aspired to expand beyond the role of an Esthetician to becoming a Medical Aesthetician, seeking deeper knowledge and skills in the field. Amidst the hustle and bustle of school, navigating both International and internal exams was not easy, there were moments I doubted myself, moments I was exhausted, but also moment I felt empowered watching my skills improve, And every challenge was worth it. Choosing to become a Medical Aesthetician stands out as one of the best decisions of my career. I am incredibly grateful to for providing me with the platform to achieve this goal.

To my instructors, classmates, and every client who trusted my hands during training, THANK YOU.
Your support and feedback shaped me. This isn’t just a certificate… it’s a symbol of resilience, creativity, and a commitment to care.

I didn’t just study beauty, I mastered it. And I thank God for not letting me walk alone.🙏🏻

I’m SUPER PROUD of myself!!!🎓🎀

TW: Real Skin *insert gasp*😣

skin is forever changing. one day it will be clear then the next it feels like the end of the world again when you get the odd breakout here and there
(spoiler alert: it’s not really the end of the world)

I used to stress myself out so much when this would happen & the fact that skincare is such an expensive luxury, i would be fuming. i would just have to remind myself that it’s okay, it’s fine. i now replace those negative thoughts with ‘no need to panic, we’ve been here before! then i cry then we get back UP!
reminder: breakouts are normal.

But we can help you keep it at bay and gradually with your patience, consistency & Money we get rid of it totally.
Yes you heard me right!

Do well to book your consultation with us💫
