It's like struggling to take a selfie with a Nokia 3310. No matter how much you smile at the Nokia 3310, it won't comply. Stop trying to act nice to people who have concluded that you are not nice.

You can't put new wine in an old bottle and expect a perfect taste.
If they are stuck in your yesterday, LET THEM GO. Your future is worth the sacrifice!

It starts with late replies, then ignored messages. The distance becomes greater & the talking becomes less frequent. Every time your phone lights up you hope it's them or at least, you wish it was them. If not checking up on you, just saying anything at all. Because yesterday you asked them how they were, & day before yesterday you asked them how they were, & the day before that too.

And how much more can you do right? how long will the conversation be one sided? So you start to care less about what they do but fragments of them linger in your head. "What did i do so wrong?" you didn't. There's nothing wrong with you at all. People change, when their need changes. But remember the times they were nice to you & were there for you instead of the bitter memories.

It's hard to accept but, they've done their job in your life. Everyone who walks in has a purpose & when they accomplish that, they leave. Don't be disheartened, for with every person that walks out; someone better will walk in. But the cycle will repeat. You're just going to have to learn how to be ok with it.

This picture you are seeing below describes the problem of a man in the world today, this animal fell in there struggling alone, pushing alone, fighting alone , crying alone, suffering alone but there was nobody to help the animal until the last day the animal died painfully.

Some people's lives are like this animal here, You fall into situation, backward you cannot go forward you still can't go you are stocked in there crying alone, suffering alone, pushing alone in other to get out of it but noway.

Some Pastors, motivational speakers, friends and family keep on asking you to PUSH HARDER, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, YOU ARE STRONG💪💪YOU CAN DO IT, but sometimes I laugh because all of them do not understand what life is.

Can someone tell me that this animal didn't push harder? this animal didn't believe in itself and despite all those efforts the animal still died painfully, simply because there was nobody to help physically 😭😭 what a life.

Sometimes let us check on our brothers and sisters and render help😣🙏maybe they are looking for physical help, not push harder, you can do it, you are a strong girl💪💪life is too short to be wasted.

THINK OF WHAT YOU CAN ADD MORE THAN WHAT YOU CAN TAKE

There was a circulated photo of a vulture waiting for a starving Sudanese girl to die and feast on her during the 1993 famine in Sudan.

The photo was taken by Kevin Carter, a South African photojournalist who later won the Pulitzer Prize for this 'amazing' shot (edited and left out here because of its inhumane posture).

Kevin however lived just a few months to enjoy his supposed achievement because he later got depressed and took his own life!

He was savoring his feat and he was being celebrated on major news channels and networks worldwide for such an 'exceptional' photographic skill.

His depression started when, during one of the interviews he granted (a phone-in program), someone phoned in and asked him what happened to the child.

Kevin replied, "I didn't wait to find out after this shot as I had a flight to catch..."

And the person replied, "I put it to you that there were two vultures on that day; one had a camera."

His constant thought of that statement led to depression and his ultimate su***de.

So, are you too a vulture?

In whatever we do, we should let humanity come first before what we can gain out of the situation.

Kevin Carter could have been alive today and even be more celebrated if he had just picked that little girl up and taken her to the United Nations Feeding Center where she was attempting to reach.

In all we do, let us always think of others and how we can be of benefit to humanity.

How we can lend a helping hand and wipe tears?

And when we seek knowledge, wealth, or even elective office, let us think of how we can use it to benefit the people most.
