If someone had told me back in Annunciation Secondary School days that I would end up with you, I would have laughed it off without a second thought. You were my big brother’s friend… just someone always around the house, nothing more. We weren’t even on speaking terms then.

But life has a funny way of writing the most unexpected love stories.

From casual conversations during your visits, to friendship, to you giving me relationship advice about someone else (ironic, right? 😂)… and then, somewhere between time, distance, and growth, we found each other again. This time, differently. This time, intentionally.

At University of Nigeria, Nsukka, everything changed. Feelings we didn’t even know existed came rushing in, and we made a choice — to choose each other.

It hasn’t been perfect, but it’s been real. Through every phase, every challenge, every win… we kept choosing us.
