Carefully infused herbs give the oil it's natural colour.
Extended exposure to bright light or the sun can bleach the oil, making the oil appear lighter in colour. However the potency remains intact and effective.

So to enjoy its full qualities it is best to use before a certain date instead of afterwards.

An expiry date is the final day that a product is safe, effective or functional. It implies that using both unopened or opened products after the given expiry date is a health hazard. The product might lost its potency or becomes harmful. It completely unsafe to use products after a given expiry date.

Unlike a "best-before date," an expiry date is a strict deadline and should not be ignored.

So please read product labels, declutter your skincare products stash and stay safe than sorry.
