Before I got no 5 look, I really went through trial and error 😂. Firstly, let me thank my sis for allowing me use her as ‘Guinea pig’ lol. When I tell people that African hair texture only survives in the Uk by luck or by grace they don’t believe me. For several years my sister thought she could escape from this ‘hair loss’ thingy until early this year, the Uk weather told her ‘woman you have had enough’! 😂. Prior to that, in 2019, she decided to transition to natural hair just to have a feel of this curly awesomeness people with natural hair have , little did she know that it would not last long… e choke ooo 🙃. However, the hair wasn’t respecting her enough, then she changed to ‘Jerry -Curl’ which she enjoyed for awhile. forward ⏩ to feb (the no 1 picture above), she got a referral from her friend to make tiny box braids with extensions (because I’m so lazy when it comes to making tiny braids 😫😫), after few days booom, the hair loss came in full force. So, I was summoned to come and do magic on the hair, obviously the remedy was to cut the hair… and yes she was ready for it! Well, the long and short of it all was that I did the bleaching/coloring, barbering/shaping/grooming and the maintenance! End of story! 🤪🤪🤪.
