Sechuwariis Foundation Amichi

Order and care went hand in hand at the SECHUWARIIS Free Medical and Surgical Mission. To make sure no one was left out and everyone received proper attention, a ticketing and number system was used.

From the first patient to the last, each person was given a number and guided through the process with kindness and patience. This simple system brought dignity, reduced waiting stress, and ensured that every individual was seen and cared for.

Care for the elderly.

At the heart of the SECHUWARIIS Free Medical and Surgical Mission is love and respect for the elderly. Many of them came with long-standing health concerns and were received with dignity, patience, and gentle care.

From blood pressure checks to consultations, our nurses and volunteer doctors took their time, listened to their stories, and treated them not just as patients but as fathers, mothers, and grandparents of the community.

Their smiles after receiving care remind us why this mission exists, to serve those who gave so much before us and now deserve to be cared for.

For many of our elderly mothers and fathers, eye tests can feel intimidating. Some cannot read the letters on the chart, but today they were not left behind.

Our volunteer nurses and medical student staff patiently adapted the test. Instead of asking them to read, they guided them to show which way the “E” or “MWE” was facing. They explained every step gently in Igbo, so everyone understood and felt comfortable.

After the exams, free glasses were given out, and the joy on their faces was priceless. For some, it was the first time in years they could truly see clearly.

Kindness, patience, and care. This is what the SECHUWARIIS Free Medical and Surgical Mission is all about.

Behind every free consultation, every surgery, every blood pressure check, there is a tireless team working nonstop. From giving out free lunch to patients, to directing the crowds, supervising, planning, and handling logistics, they make sure everything runs smoothly.

Kudos to our amazing volunteers and organizers who serve God and humanity with such dedication.

A healthy body needs more than medicine, it also needs nourishment. At the SECHUWARIIS Free Medical and Surgical Mission, patients and volunteers were served free lunch as part of our care.

Food shared with love strengthens both the body and the spirit. Kudos to the team making sure no one goes hungry.

At the SECHUWARIIS 4-Day Free Medical and Surgical Mission, patients are receiving life-saving surgeries at no cost. This is more than healthcare, it is compassion in action, honoring the legacy of Dr. Hosanna Amaka Maduneme.
