The US removal of Iran's highly enriched uranium stockpiles would not involve American ground troops, US President Donald Trump said in a phone interview with CBS News.
However, when asked who would recover the stocks from the US side, he would only say "our people."
"No. No troops. We'll go down and get it with them, and then we'll take it," Trump said.
"We'll be getting it together because by that time, we'll have an agreement and there's no need for fighting when there's an agreement. Nice right? That's better. We would have done it the other way if we had to."

After Donald Trump gave the Islamic Republic 48 hours to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, Iran’s permanent representative to the International Maritime Organization said the waterway remains open to all except what he called Iran’s “enemies.”
Ali Mousavi said ships can pass through the strait if security and safety arrangements are coordinated with Iranian authorities, adding that Tehran is ready to work with the International Maritime Organization and other countries to improve maritime safety and protect seafarers in the Persian Gulf.
“Diplomacy remains Iran’s priority,” Mousavi said, but added that a “complete cessation of aggression” and “mutual trust and confidence” were more important.
He added that US and Israeli attacks on Iran were at the “root of the current situation in the Strait of Hormuz.”

A church recently raised ₦960,000 for a member who was very sick. His hospital bill was ₦210,000 an amount he and his family could not afford.
During a service, the pastor announced; “Our brother is hospitalized and needs ₦210,000. Let us support him.”
Members began donating generously and by the end of the service, the total reached ₦960,000.
Afterwards, the pastor counted the money, gave ₦210,000 to the sick man’s brother to pay the hospital, and deposited the remaining ₦750,000 into the church account.
The problem started when the family became upset.
They argued that all the money should have gone to their brother, not just the hospital bill, because people donated out of compassion to help him with recovery, medicines and daily needs.
The pastor, however, said he only requested ₦210,000 and once that target was met, any extra money belonged to the church.
The way this situation is now..
What is your take on this?
Who do you think is right in this situation? 🤔
