According to Daily Post News reports, it was reported that Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Drainages, Joe Igbokwe, has declared that President-elect Bola Tinubu will remain Nigeriaโs president until 2031 and thereafter hand over power to a northerner who will rule the country until 2039.
Recall that the Daily Post News had earlier reported that Joe Igbokwe, an APC chieftain in Lagos State, had recently urged the Igbos in Lagos to vote for the APC governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, since the Yorubas, who are the owners of the land, had accommodated them with so much love and affection.
According to one of his statements, Joe Igbokwe also said that "Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a good friend to the Igbos, and he has sacrificed a lot for businessmen and women with strong business empires in Lagos State, and now is the time to compensate his good works by voting in mass for Babajide Sanwo-Olu during the forthcoming governorship election." He said
While speaking further, he also said that "the Southeast will be onlookers while Asiwaju will rule from 2023 to 2031 and also hand over to a Northerner." "This is because we have refused to okay politics and allowed anger to settle in our hearts." He added
However, Joe Igbokwe has reportedly stirred mixed reactions from people on social media. While some said he is a betrayal to his kinsmen, others said his conscience has been bought with money by some ruthless politicians.
