I met someone in my school days who looked like peace .

Quiet .

Calm .

Reserved.

Playful.

Alone .

Smiling .

I used to wonder if she never had any struggles. Of course , she did … i found out later.

Even in the way she spoke…

So soft .

How did she do it sef?

This same school that’s stressing all of us ? I almost lost my mind .

In my head , “this girl is an avoidant or a very nonchalant person o” .

If you ask her , “why are you always smiling or seemed so unbothered about all this things we are complaining about?

She’ll be like “ what can I do about it ? We go Dey alright e “

I found how she handled stress , conflict, school, friendship very interesting.

It didn’t really make much sense to me then but at this stage of my life , her approach to life is very commendable .

Why focus solely on the things you can’t control ?

Why allow other people tamper with your peace of mind?

Not every action require an immediate response .

Take your time.

Set your own pace .

Never tradeoff your peace of mind .

It’s never worth it .
