Saturday is for bulk cooking in my house.

I’d rather spend a few hours cooking today than be stressing every single day about what to cook. Once the food is ready and stored, I can breathe small during the week.

Motherhood is really about finding little ways to make life easier for yourself. Sometimes it’s not about doing everything every day, but doing what you can today to make tomorrow easier.

I wish people will understand that women needs to be loved a little bit more after having a baby …

Sometimes you’re holding your baby, but deep down, you’re the one who needs to be held. You’re tired, you haven’t had enough sleep, there are bills to think about, the house needs attention, and somehow everyone still expects you to have everything under control.

But then your baby rests on your chest and holds onto you, and for a little while, everything else becomes quiet. You just stay there, looking at that little person you brought into the world, thinking, “God, I’m tired… but I’m grateful.”

Motherhood is not always the smiling pictures we post. Sometimes it’s this — tired eyes, messy days, silent prayers, and a mother giving love even when she has very little left to give.

Saturday has entered with no mercy. 😂

it’s sweeping, washing, arranging, cleaning and doing plenty things that somehow never finish. 😩

But we move. One chore at a time, one room at a time. ❤️

Pregnancy changes so much about our bodies. Our tummy changes, our skin changes, our hair changes… and sometimes we start noticing little face tags too, either during pregnancy or after having our babies.

I remember looking at my face and noticing mine, and honestly, sometimes you just wonder, “What is happening to me?” 😂

But the truth is, these are some of the little changes that can come with motherhood. They don’t make us less beautiful.

So to every mum looking at herself and feeling like she doesn’t look the way she used to — you are still beautiful. ❤️

Your body has carried, birthed, and cared for your little ones. Give yourself some grace.

The face tags, stretch marks, extra weight, scars… they don’t take away your beauty. You’re still that girl. ❤️

Apparently, matching socks are no longer important. 😂

As long as there’s a sock on each leg, we’re good to go

Mummies, please tell me I’m not the only one doing this now. 😩

On Monday morning, before giving this juice to my children, I opened it and poured it into a cup first just to check properly.

With all the videos I’ve been seeing of mums opening children’s drinks and finding things inside, I honestly can’t just give it to them without checking anymore.

Thankfully, this one was clean. 🙏🏽

Motherhood has really turned me into a full-time inspector. 😂
