Is very unfortunate the way they are pushing this Nnamdi Kanu case. He has opportunities to appeal the case and they are quick to pushing him to prison just to hinder his case.

BREAKING NEWS: “Why was Nnamdi Kanu not shown the written law? Why was the alleged offense not explained to him? Justice must be transparent!” — Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala reportedly blasts the presiding judge over the controversial sentencing of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
According to her, no citizen should be condemned without seeing the law they supposedly violated, insisting that “If there is no written law, then there is no valid judgment.”
She further demanded immediate clarity or release:
“Nnamdi Kanu is my brother, and he deserves fairness. Either show him the exact law he broke, or release him immediately. Nigeria cannot continue this era of silence and judicial darkness.”

Breaking news:Details Of Tinubu’s Meeting With COAS Emerge
12th November 2025
President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday held a closed-door meeting with the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, amid renewed security concerns across parts of the country.
Speaking to State House correspondents after the meeting, Lt. Gen. Shaibu assured Nigerians that the military is intensifying efforts to improve security nationwide.
He said, “Improved security across the country,” when asked what Nigerians should expect in the coming weeks.
The army chief noted that his briefing to the President covered updates on the current security situation and findings from his recent operational tour of the North-East, where troops have continued to battle insurgents.
“I came to brief him on the outcome of my visit to the North-East and then look at other security situations across the country, which was satisfactory within this period,” he said.
Shaibu disclosed that his assessment of ongoing operations indicated “encouraging progress,” particularly in areas affected by insurgency and banditry.
He emphasized that the Nigerian Army, in collaboration with other security agencies, is committed to ensuring the safety of citizens and the stability of the nation.
Although the Army Chief did not go into operational details, his assurance comes amid intensified joint offensives against terrorists, bandits, and other armed groups in several parts of the country.
His remarks followed recent successful air raids by the Nigerian Air Force in Borno, Katsina, and Kwara States, which reportedly neutralized hundreds of terrorists hiding in forest enclaves.

FULANI TERRORISM CANNOT BE EQUATED WITH IPOB SELF-DETERMINATION : NIGERIA MUST STOP REWARDING VIOLENCE
I strongly condemn the recent attempt by Sheikh Ahmad Gumi and certain northern elites to draw a moral equivalence between the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Fulani terrorists. This comparison is reckless, misleading, and an insult to the victims of terrorism.
Let the facts be clear:
IPOB is demanding a separate state through agitation and self-determination.
Fulani terrorists are engaged in revenge killings, kidnappings, land occupation, and violent domination.
These are not the same and must never be treated as such.
If Sheikh Gumi insists that Fulani terrorists have grievances, Nigerians deserve clear answers:
Who offended them?
What injustice justifies the killing, kidnap, r**e, and displacement of thousands?
Why should terrorists be praised for “listening” while citizens are buried daily?
The Fulani are not oppressed. They occupy major positions in government, security forces, and national politics. Nigeria must stop rewarding violence and blaming victims.
If there are people with legitimate grievances, it is communities like mine in the Niger Delta:
Our oil and gas are taken to sustain Nigeria, but our people live in poverty.
Our rivers, creeks, and farmlands are polluted beyond use.
We cannot fish, farm, or hunt anymore.
Yet we do not take up arms against innocent Nigerians. We seek justice, not bloodshed.
Northern elites must stop misleading their people and glorifying terrorists.
Terrorism is a crime.
Self-determination is a legal debate.
The two must never be confused or equated.
Nigeria must choose:
Will we continue to justify terror and silence truth?
Or will we uphold justice, equality, and the sanctity of human life?

Anambra Election: APGA Takes Early Lead as INEC Uploads 99% of Results 🗳️🔥
Governor Chukwuma Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), is currently leading in the Anambra governorship election, according to results uploaded so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
As of late Saturday night, INEC had uploaded 5,685 results out of the expected 5,720 — representing about 99.4% of total polling unit results.
Collation was temporarily suspended and is expected to resume by 6 a.m., with only two local governments left to be officially declared.
From the figures available, Soludo holds a commanding lead over his closest rivals, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the APC, George Moghalu of the Labour Party, and Jude Ezenwafor of the PDP.
📊 Top Candidates by Votes So Far:
APGA (Soludo): 389,789
APC (Ukachukwu): 91,592
LP (Moghalu): 10,366
PDP (Ezenwafor): 1,230
The electoral process across the 21 local governments has been largely peaceful, with observers commending the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV) for its transparency and accessibility.
INEC officials assured Nigerians that all uploaded results remain secured, verifiable, and traceable, reaffirming the Commission’s commitment to credible and transparent elections.
